Heat Network Investment Projects Funding

In 2017, the government announced that the Heat Network Investment Project (HNIP) will provide £320 million of capital funding to increase the volume of heat networks being built.

The government aims to leverage £2 billion of private and local capital investment to fund 200 large heat networks in public and private buildings by 2025. The pilot scheme ran in late 2016, prior to the launch of the main scheme in 2018 with £280 million available.

We have considerable experience working on the design and management of funding programmes, and has a proven track record of supporting successful applications. We also have strong links with investors and private equity funds and can offer support on project financing options and investor requirements. All of this puts us in a position to help with heat network projects at any stage of development.
