Sam Taylor to Present Waste Crime Findings

4th June 2014

Eunomia Senior Consultant Sam Taylor is to present the findings of Eunomia’s recent report for the ESA Education Trust on waste crime at a joint North East and North West CIWM ‘Regulatory Update’ event next week. Sam will explain the conclusions Eunomia reached regarding the strong business case for enforcement action on waste crime, following which the government decided to make extra money available to fight illegal waste operators.

Sam will be joined by numerous other speakers, including representatives from Grant Thornton LLP, Resourcefutures, the Environment Agency and Veolia. Topics covered will include the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations, the MRF Regulations and transfrontier shipments of waste. The event will take place at Textile Centre of Excellence, Huddersfield on 6th June, and details can be found here.
