Sophie supports business development at Eunomia, through the tender review process and reporting.
Sophie joins Eunomia from an MSc Business Management by Research focusing on collaboration for circular economy implementation, which was supported by the School of Management and School of Engineering. This was funded by KESS (Knowledge Economy Skills Scholarship) which benefits from European Social funding, with Capgemini acting as her project partner. This qualitative study involved interviewing multiple stakeholders within the sustainability field including academics, NGOs, business and government.
Sophie was also a Raleigh international volunteer in Costa Rica and Nicaragua where she supported water sanitation and hygiene projects, focusing on the importance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She also completed a 300k trek and environmental project based in a national park, and undertook volunteering projects ranging from education to digging toilets.
Sophie also holds a BSc Business Management degree. As part of this she undertook a placement year in the automotive industry as a vehicle planning analyst. She also has previously volunteered at Oxfam as part of the Cardiff online store team.
