Kat works across a range of Eunomia’s projects providing research, analysis and report writing, particularly to the Evaluation, Energy, Economics and Markets Team. Since joining Eunomia, she has gained experience in waste flow modelling, energy policy, carbon offsetting and sustainable business. She is also a capable Project Manager and one of our in-house GIS experts.
Prior to joining Eunomia, Kat graduated from the University of Durham with a First-Class degree in Physical Geography, and then from Leeds University with a master’s degree in Climate Change and Environmental Policy. During this degree Kat covered a diverse range of topics, including the relationship between business, environment and sustainability, the challenges of global mitigation and adaptation, and environmental impact assessments. Her dissertation explored organisational change for sustainability and Fairtrade food labelling.
Kat has first-hand experience in using ArcGIS for environmental management having spent a summer working with the Ribble Rivers Trust. More recently she has used ArcGIS in the commercial sector and for Local Authorities whilst working at ESRI.
