Claire is a Senior Consultant with both strong understanding and practical experience of the operational delivery of waste collections.
Her background is in waste research, working alongside operations to deliver a wide range of projects; from examining authority waste composition and collection scheme participation to undertaking vehicle design testing. Claire has considerable experience implementing new services having been responsible for round design and implementation for major contract mobilisations.
Claire’s recent work includes developing the phased implementation plan, budget and cost model for South Lakeland District Council, and modelling and designing two configuration options for the expansion of the current council depot into a transfer station which will receive a wide range of source separated materials.
Claire’s role in projects is often to provide technical support; managing data collection, liaising with client operational teams and undertaking various analyses, such as analysing weighbridge and tracker data to provide resource utilisation information. She has undertaken such work for a number of local authorities, including Wandsworth, Carlisle and South Lakeland.
Claire has played a key role in LWARB efficiency projects making site visit assessments, critically appraising service information and undertaking high level analysis and modelling using available data in order to contribute to efficiency recommendations. Claire was issued with a performance rating card in April 2013 and has undertaken formal round observations for the London Borough of Enfield using formal work study methods to assess the productivity of Enfield’s collection services.
Claire joined Eunomia in October 2012, having previously worked for May Gurney as the Research and Planning Manager for Environmental Services. In this role Claire gained a wide range of operational experience, particularly focussed on waste collection logistics and contract mobilisation.
