Caroline joined Eunomia in May 2019 and is a PRINCE2 qualified senior project manager, working closely with the policy team and clients to deliver the highest quality products.
Caroline is an experienced project manager and governance professional. She has worked extensively in the public sector as well as in the charitable and private sectors in areas such as energy efficiency, carbon management and global health.
Recent Experience
Caroline has recently project managed two studies looking at extended producer responsibility for the packaging industry in the UK. These strategically important projects fed into the consultations being conducted by the UK Government on amending packaging producer responsibility regulations and involved engagement with both government and industry stakeholders. Caroline is also working on several international circular economy projects which are assessing the optimum waste collection, sorting and recycling processes in Canada, the USA and other countries. As well as bidding for work on large European frameworks, Caroline is also the project manager for a county council looking to develop an ambitious but achievable roadmap for becoming a net zero carbon user within the next ten years.
Career History
Prior to working for Eunomia, Caroline co-ordinated Committee and Board meetings for the Gavi Alliance, an international charity working with the World Health Organisation to distribute life-saving vaccines to the poorest communities around the World. Here she ensured Committee materials were delivered in very short timescales to the highest standard and liaised with members including Ministers of Health, and senior finance and health professionals across the globe.
Caroline spent over five years working for the UK energy regulator, Ofgem, administering national energy efficiency government programmes. For several years Caroline was responsible for programme management across each of the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO), Warm Homes Discount (WHD) and Government Electricity Rebate (GER) schemes, liaising with senior staff and the government department to ensure that the programmes were appropriately resourced and delivered within the relevant timelines and budget.
Prior to working for Ofgem, Caroline spent three years as the Environment Officer of Cambridgeshire Police. Here she gained hands-on experience delivering a wide variety of energy efficiency, renewable, behavioural and waste management projects across 40 sites. In addition to the more technical projects, Caroline succeeded in highlighting the importance of carbon management within the organisation and achieved strong buy-in from the management team as well as creating a network of environmental ‘champions’.
Caroline has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sheffield in physical geography and is also a PRINCE2 and Change Management practitioner.
