Eunomia to Help Develop Waste Infrastructure in UAE

16th February 2015

Eunomia has been asked to support a team helping to develop an integrated waste management system in four of the Emirates of the UAE (Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain).

Eunomia’s role in the project draws on its experience in appraising different residual waste management technologies and includes a review a range of treatment technologies for residual waste, including all forms of energy from waste technology.

Mike Brown, who will be directing the study, said:

“We are pleased to see that our reputation is growing in countries where we have not worked before. This is our first project in the area, although we have delivered seminars in the area in the past. We hope to build our relationship with our project partner, and to build the basis for a transformative project.”

Eunomia will be advising its partners on developing criteria, through a workshop in UAE, for assessment of treatment options. Eunomia will then conduct the assessment against these criteria using its expertise in the field.
