Wayne Lewis, Senior Consultant at Eunomia, will be speaking at the CIWM South West AGM & Open Seminar tomorrow.

Wayne’s presentation, entitled “Partnership approaches for delivering local government services” will explore why few waste partnerships have gone as far along the path to full integration of services as early trail-blazers such as Somerset and Dorset. He will also consider whether establishing a local authority company can help overcome some of the barriers encountered by countywide waste partnerships and enable more authorities to work in partnership.

Other speakers at the CIWM event, which will be held at the ISCA Centre, Exeter, include Wendy Barrett of Devon County Council and Graham Winter from the Environment Agency. Further details of the meeting, including a full agenda and how to book, can be found here.
