Hattie and Amy have done it again, and organised another brilliant Eunomia Christmas party.
This year we started by letting off some steam with a trip to laser quest – what says Christmas more unequivocally than running around, shooting your colleagues! For other, less militant Eunomians, there was the opportunity to sit back with a glass of wine and watch a Christmas classic, Elf.
Then it was on with our black, gold and glitter themed glad rags, and over to the nearby Station Kitchen for the evening’s entertainment. That kicked off with a set from our in house band, Dirty Murph and the Kerbside Sorters, who wowed the assembled throng with another set of waste and resources themed musical numbers, including Christmas-spirited performance of their latest composition, “Route Optimising Santa Claus” – expect to see it in the Christmas charts next year…
We were still humming the chorus when it was time to sit down, pull our crackers and set into some good food and drink…
Dinner dispatched, we wasted no time heading for the photo booth and fancy dress box.
After plenty of dancing and carrying on, we topped the night off with something of an annual tradition – a Brompton cycle race around the square, with our illustrious Chairman showing us all how it’s done.
A great time was had by all and we look forward to doing it again in 2016.
