For one night only, a quiet working area situated atop Eunomia’s Bristol office became ‘The Dog and Loft’ as staff took part in a special pub-quiz style games night.
Complete with real ales, pork scratchings and a darts board, the event’s organisers, Steve Watson and Anna Hudson, sought to evoke the spirit of a traditional boozer – but without breaching licensing laws. Quiz rounds covered a range of topics, including film and television, music, geography and the biographies of Eunomia employees. One round even asked teams to come up with summaries to imagined consultancy reports, based on words picked randomly from a hat.
The winning team – known collectively as Exquisite Answers – consisted of Head of Brussels Office Hara Xirou, Senior Consultant Peter Jones, PR & Marketing Executive Caroline Cockburn and Technical Writer Julie Bowe.
They took home a first prize trophy that was completely consistent with the waste hierarchy, crafted as it was from recovered materials.
Not ones to miss out on all the fun, some 100 miles away staff at Eunomia’s London office were hosting their own games night, a more formal affair involving board games and pizza. Both socials were the latest in a new series of games nights, where Eunomia staff get the chance to play hard after a long day spent working hard.
