Eunomia has been providing advice in the low-carbon energy sector since 2001. The company specialises in strategic and technical evaluation work, carrying out challenging research and analytical tasks, particularly focused around modelling of the development and impacts of new and often complex technologies in the energy sector in response to new policy initiatives.
Eunomia’s expertise spans both renewable energy generation (whether heat or electrical) and energy efficiency. We have advised on a range of technologies including those related to heat networks, energy storage, smart metering, heat pumps, fuel cells, tidal generation, second-generation biofuels and injection of biomethane into the natural gas network.
Our ongoing policy work on behalf of DECC and the EC enables us to better read the future with regard to low carbon energy infrastructure. This is such that we also provide commercial and technical advice to utility companies, project developers, lenders and private equity funds to support new investment.
