Principal Consultant Sam Taylor and Consultant Chloe Bines will be presenting at Nextgen 2015 on Wednesday 7th October.
The two day conference provides delegates with the opportunity to share information, identifying solutions and generate business opportunities around cleaner, reliable and cost-effective local energy.
Principal Consultant Sam Taylor will be speaking at 10:00am in the Sustainable Heat for Buildings & Process Theatre. In this session Sam will present an overview of the mechanisms to support renewable heating technologies. Primarily this will focus on the Renewable Heat Incentive; the Government’s flagship mechanism to support renewable heat.
Consultant Chloe Bines will be speaking in the Agri-Rural Renewables Theatre at 4:00pm, in the session entilted ‘Grid connectivity and energy storage-overcoming bottlenecks and maximising the value of generation’.
In this session Chloe will discuss why we need energy storage in the UK and provide an overview of current and emerging energy storage technologies and the potential deployment opportunities for a range of applications. Chloe will explore the current UK storage market, the technical and economic barriers to deployment and the commercial opportunities and business models associated with energy storage technologies.
