Current work at Eunomia includes contributing to projects with Local Authorities, which focus on developing enhanced two-tier working in waste management; these projects are based on developing detailed business cases in order that two tier authorities can consider the case for merging aspects of both client side and contract side services.

Recent work has included extensive work with MRFs in developing quality measurement techniques for both input material and product streams. Andy has acted as an advisor on a number of local authority collections projects and has specialist expertise in the management of Civic Amenity Sites. Andy also advised DEFRA and the FRN on cost modelling of Local Authority Bulky Collections. Andy is also managing a project on behalf of WRAP which is examining the economics of collecting mixed plastics.

Andy has acted as Project Director on a range of waste flow modelling, compositional and monitoring projects for local authorities and commercial clients who have included DEFRA, WRAP, the NHS and new technology providers.

Separately, Andy was, for six years, a Director of Network Recycling, an operational waste management company specialising in waste management services for outdoor events.
