 Sam Taylor Senior Consultant
Sam is a Senior Consultant and joined Eunomia in 2007 after previously working for the Environment Agency. He has worked extensively on energy, waste and sustainability issues and has detailed knowledge of the many regulatory and policy instruments at both national and EU level. Sam’s research has focused on a range of areas including Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), characterisation of waste arisings, waste management technologies, due diligence and environmental permitting. He is responsible for managing and contributing to a range of consultancy projects and has provided high-quality strategic advice to both public and private sector clients.
In 2008 Sam undertook period of secondment in the UK Government, where he spent a several months within the Environmental Regulation and Policy Division at Defra. More recently, Sam has been helping manage a bid on behalf of a private sector consortium to the European Commission’s Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Competition (NER 300 Competition). He has also worked on a major regional government strategy to deliver environmental services across the South West of England.
Sam has a degree in Geographical Sciences from the University of Bristol and is also a PRINCE2 qualified project manager. He has strong communication and analytic skills and is well practiced in communicating at senior level, with a strong track record in delivering major work on time and to budget.
