Adam joined Eunomia in January 2007 and has twelve years consulting experience during which he has built up a significant profile in the energy and waste sectors, providing succinct, high-quality strategic advice to a range of public and private sector clients. He has extensive, detailed knowledge of the many regulatory and policy instruments at both national and EU level which drive or constrain development of new infrastructure. Adam has recently managed related studies on behalf of the UK Committee on Climate Change, Defra, DECC and the Renewable Fuels Agency.
Adam has conducted a number of market studies for technology suppliers and property companies seeking to enter the waste and energy markets. He was a co-author of the Juniper Mechanical-biological Treatment (MBT) report and has considerable expertise in the analysis of waste treatment technologies. He has worked with Goldman Sachs in the provision of advice on recent investments in the sector and has also undertaken due diligence on behalf of RBS, Banco Santander and Balfour Beatty Capital.
Adam is currently working for a major consortium in the power sector in support of the development of a new coal power station (fitted with carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies) in the UK. Part of this role has involved the provision of support to a related consortium’s bid for funding in the Government's CCS Competition, for which it was one of three remaining pre-qualified bidders.
Adam is a PRINCE2 qualified project manager and has managed a range of high profile projects. He is thus well practiced in communicating at senior level, with a strong track record in delivering major work on time and to budget.
