Joining Eunomia in February 2010, Rob brings with him over 15 years worth of project management, change management and organisational transformation experience with the last 9 years spent as a consultant to a number of district, metropolitan borough, unitary and county councils. Rob started his career in HR and organisational development (‘OD’) for The Post Office before moving on to an operational HR role in the IT industry. In 2001 he joined HBS Business Services (subsequently acquired by Mouchel plc) to oversee the TUPE transfer of over 700 members of staff from a large unitary council as part of a pioneering PPP outsourcing contract.
Since then Rob has developed his service transformation and OD expertise across a number of local authority service areas including: adults and childrens social care, planning, environment and street scene, HR, IT, Finance, housing and customer services using ‘lean systems thinking’ methods. For the last 2 years prior to joining Eunomia Rob has been successfully working at Chief Executive and Portfolio Holder level on a number of ‘whole council’ transformation projects including the development of partnership working.
Since joining Eunomia Rob has delivered and project managed our work as lead advisor to the Gloucestershire Joint Waste Programme. He has also created a Joint Waste Partnership business case template and other elements of Eunomia’s project to develop the Advanced Waste Partnership Route Map published by IESE and included within the recently announced Defra Waste Review. Rob continues to work on a number of important procurement and research projects with and for local and central government as well as providing contract bid support to private sector clients.
