Eunomia Managing Director Mike Brown is speaking today at a conference in London organised by the Centre for European Waste-to-Energy Plants (CEWEP).
Mike will be participating in a discussion with Ella Stengler, MD of CEWEP, which will address the question of where waste policy heading, and what the implications are for waste to energy. He will be talking about issues of efficiency, renewability and the risk of energy from waste competing with recycling for material. He will also bring up the possibility of wider application of incineration taxes, already in place in several EU member states, but in subsequently revoked by some.
