Eunomia Appointed to EIB Framework

Eunomia has been appointed as solid waste advisers to the European Investment Bank on the Environment & Regional Development Framework. The bank is mandated by the EU to fund regional development projects in the Europe but also Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.

Eunomia is part of a group of expert consultants retained until 2018 to assist the Projects Directorate, in particular its Environment and Regional Development Department, in its wide range of activities and responsibilities. The work may include technical, economic, financial, procurement, environmental and social appraisal, in line with the Bank’s project appraisal cycle; the provision of project preparation and implementation; support to promoters including management of major technical assistance programmes; the monitoring of projects; and undertaking specific economic studies.

This appointment through a competitive tender builds on a several previous European framework wins for the company, leading to high profile work reviewing Europe’s waste targets and on environmental fiscal reform.
