Eunomia Chairman Dr. Dominic Hogg, will be speaking at the International Circular Economy Conference: Opportunities and Challenges on economic growth and creating jobs on Tuesday 3rd November at 11am.
The conference has been organised by Ecologists Without Borders Association, Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of Republic Slovenia and Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy of Republic Slovenia. It aims to answer two key questions for Slovenia:
- will they actively participate in creating a circular economy, or only observe; and
- if they decide to participate, how will they manage the transition and what will be needed?
The first half of the conference will present the circular economy model and provide an overview of current developments within the EU. The afternoon will focus on practical examples of circular economy application, looking at the best practice across EU Member States.
