Chris Sherrington, Senior Consultant at Eunomia, will be speaking to the All-Party Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group (APSRG) on Monday 10th March. The seminar, entitled ‘Innovation and Implementation: Local Authorities and our National Waste Ambitions’ will be held at Portcullis House, Westminster.
Chris will be talking about the waste management challenges facing local authorities given the current, and increasing, pressure on finances. He will then take part in a panel discussion. The session will be chaired by Barry Sheerman MP, who is co-Chair of the APSRG. Other members of the discussion panel will include Cllr Clyde Loakes from the Local Government Association, Andy Walker, Director of Campaigns and Communications at Keep Britain Tidy, and Robert Hunt, Executive Director of Veolia.
