Dr Chiarina Darrah is speaking at the Litter Free Dorset event in Dorchester on the 23rd November on how we can work together to reduce littering behaviour.
The event is being organised by the Dorset Coast Forum who have been very active on litter recently with their ‘Litter Free Coast and Sea’ program. The Forum has been working hard to bring together all kinds of stakeholders and engage them on litter prevention. The meeting will be attended by local community groups, members of the local council, local authority officers and businesses, who are interested how to bring about behaviour change in Dorset.
In her presentation, Chiarina will talk about
- The responsibilities of different stakeholders in the problem of litter in the environment
- The role that local communities can play in acting on litter
- How then can bring about behaviour change and prevention through a variety of different initiatives
