Eunomia also offers several work experience placements throughout the year in our Bristol office. These are a good opportunity for anyone interested in the environmental sector, and consultancy more broadly, to gain an insight into what we do and accrue valuable experience. With regard to recruitment, if you apply for a post, please note that your information will be retained, processed and disposed of in line with the company’s Privacy Policy, we confirm that no third parties handle our recruitment data.  Where applicable, our data, documentation and equipment are password protected, and in transmission outside of the group, data is encrypted, and our servers are protected by malware.

If a candidate is unsuccessful in being offered a role within the organisation, their electronic personal information will be deleted from our system after a period of 6 months, paper based information will be securely shredded.  The information obtained will not be used for any other purpose than recruitment.

If a candidate is successful in being offered a role within the organisation, the personal information we retain on them will be kept for a period of 7 years beyond the end of their employment with us, this is in line with legislation. This information will be used and retained in line with our Privacy Policy and current General Data Protection Regulations and used only for the legitimate business reasons.

In the above cases, at any time up to the point of its destruction, candidates have the following rights:-

  • To right to be informed.
  • The right of access.
  • The right to rectification.
  • The right to erasure (this will be accommodated, unless the company is prohibited from removing the information due to legislation).
  • The right to restrict processing.
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object
  • Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.
  • (in which case this will be accommodated, unless the company is prohibited from removing the information due to legislation)

In addition to this, you may make a Data Subject Access Request for access to data held about you.  If this is the case, please contact jobs@eunomia.co.uk.  Within 30 days, we will provide to you with information on where we obtained your information from, who we (the data controller) are, the purpose of processing the information, as well as the legal basis for the processing (there may be more than one reason), where the processing takes place, information on whether we use a data processor, how long we will retain your data (or the criteria used to determine the period).  In our correspondence, we will also reiterate your rights.

Should you wish to make a complaint about the way in which you feel your information has been handled, please contact hr@eunomia.co.uk, details of how to make a complaint are included in our Security Policy which is available to access from each page of our website.

Please can you confirm that are happy for Eunomia Research and Consulting Ltd to retain your details for a period of 6 months after your application, for the purpose of contacting you regarding existing or future employment opportunities.  After this 6 month period, your information will be destroyed.
